Supporting Pupils in School with Medical Conditions (formally Managing Medicines)

The DfE guidance on Supporting Pupils with Medical Conditions at School outlines schools statutory and non-statutory duties with supporting pupils in school with their medical conditions.  This course is designed around this guidance and will help you to understand the importance of record keeping, storage and administration of medicine for school support staff.  Further specific training in the use of epipens, administration of rectal diazepam etc. will continue to be available from School Health.

Academies, VA, VC & external customers - £110 per person for advertised dates, £400 for a bespoke course min nos. 8 - max nos. 16

Suitable for: Any employee who has responsibly for managing and administering medicines in School
Refresher Training Required? – Yes, every three years
Bespoke training available: Yes, this course can also be run on request as twilight or INSET session for a group of staff
