Templates & Video-guides
Business Continuity Management: Service Impact Assessments (SIA)
Our template helps you evaluate specific incidents and their impact on your schools, outlining actions needed to deliver a 'skeleton' service. A collection of these forms a Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
Business Continuity Management: Service Incident Action Card
Each Business Continuity Management (BCM) incident action card is tailored to the individual school and provides clear guidance for staff who may not have access to the Service SIAs. These cards act as a quick reference tool in the event of communication disruptions, helping ensure everyone understands their role during an incident.
Emergency Planning
An Emergency Management Plan documents procedures for handling emergencies at school, during off-site activities, or involving home-to-school transport. Examples include:
- Incidents involving emergency services (e.g. road/rail collision)
- School closures (excluding weather-related, unless significant damage occurs)
- Incidents attracting adverse media attention
- Significant injury to a student on a trip
The plan aims to mitigate the impact on the school community, outlining the response and recovery process.
