In this one hour course you will develop understanding of the correct procedures to follow when dealing with a complaint from a parent or member of the community. 

A school's complaints policy should provide a conflict resolution process designed to hear the views of stakeholders and, where necessary, take the appropriate action to better serve the needs of pupils and the wider community.

Outcomes:

  • Understanding the role of governors / trustees at each stage of the procedure

  • Successfully navigate each stage of the process

  • Create a culture which reduces the risk of complaintescalating
