Buckinghamshire Traded Services

Emergency Planning and Continuity Management

Emergency Planning

We are a team of professional, qualified and competent Emergency Managers and Business Continuity Managers who are providing a similar service for the Council, ensuring the you can continue to deliver critical activities in the event of a disruption to normal service delivery and delivering a capability to respond to emergencies in the community as part of a multi-agency response.

Benefits of Business Continuity Management

The ability to continue to deliver critical activities in the event of disruption is fundamental to the survival of a business, but it is easy to be distracted by the day-to-day running of the business.  BCM is ensuring that you know what needs to be continued, how quickly, with what, how and to have the assurance that your staff know their role and have been practised in it.  It also helps to provide a degree of resilience by identifying vulnerabilities, weaknesses, single points of failure and allowing a business to mitigate these prior to them becoming an issue

Costs

Courses will have a fixed price, based on the overall costs of the trainer and materials required. Consultancy costs will be based on an hourly/daily rate to cover the costs of the support and admin fees.

Discounts: For maintained schools, costs will be reduced to cover the basic costs of the trainer and essential costs associated with the training (e.g. mileage, equipment used).
