Cultural Capital is essential to the educational attainment of disadvantaged pupils. This conference will support schools through presenting strategies and resources to increase the cultural opportunities for disadvantaged pupils in Buckinghamshire.  Delegates will also have amble opportunity to view and engage with a range of local cultural organisations with educational offers.

Outcomes                                                                       

• Explore what is meant by cultural capital and look beyond restrictive definitions to recognise the array of cultural capital which exists in school communities
• Be equipped to build a knowledge rich curriculum that celebrates all cultures, reflects the local community and the country's diversity
• Be provided with tools to audit your own curriculum in regard to cultural capital
