You Said, We Did!

Following the success of our Down Syndrome Celebration Conference last year, feedback was received that teachers would appreciate the opportunity to have a ‘hands-on’ planning session to look at curriculum development and differentiation more closely. In these face-to-face sessions, teachers can bring examples of their planning to share with colleagues from other schools and the Down syndrome Specialist Teachers to offer ideas for planning and differentiation.

Learning Objectives:

• Review their understanding of the profile of learning associated with Down syndrome
• Develop a range of strategies and techniques to effectively plan an appropriate curriculum
• Be shown a range of resources that could be incorporated into planning
