The Role of the Safeguarding Governor in an Ofsted Inspection
Being able to demonstrate that your school has effective safeguarding systems and procedures in place is essential in an Ofsted inspection. This session will take you through how to audit the school’s safeguarding procedures; how to ensure the safeguarding systems in your schools are robust and adhere to the latest Keeping Children Safe in Education; and ensure you understand the role of the Safeguarding Governor in planning for and during an Ofsted inspection. Whilst primarily aimed at Safeguarding governors, this session is relevant to all governors whether new or experienced, to make sure you keep your safeguarding knowledge up to date.

- Understand how to ensure that the safeguarding systems in your school are robust and in line with the latest Keeping Children Safe in Education
- Understand the role of the Safeguarding Governor in planning for and during an Ofsted Inspection
