Whether your school is following a scheme or not, this course is designed to provide an opportunity for LKS2 teachers to analyse the full depth and breadth of the Y3/4 English Writing National Curriculum. There will be time to reflect and ensure that the curriculum you deliver throughout Y3 and Y4, plans to deliver a solid foundation for pupils to build upon and progress with their writing into Y5 and Y6.

Course Objectives:

• Opportunity to reflect and review current practice and curriculum offer with colleagues
• Practical ideas and tips from current practitioners and advisors to use in the classroom
• Deeper understanding of progression of writing through Y3-4.
