This course is designed to help school staff better understand and support autistic girls in mainstream school settings. It aims to help recognise the unique presentations of autism in girls and address the specific needs of autistic girls during puberty.

- To explore the specific challenges and strengths of autistic girls in mainstream schools
- To explore the various ways that autism presents in girls and how anxiety impacts them
- To recognise the specific needs of autistic girls with a focus on personal hygiene and managing puberty
- To develop strategies to help support autistic girls within mainstream schools to remove barriers to inclusion and participation
