This course is designed to guide support staff to recognise barriers to learning and provide ideas to develop a classroom tool kit to use with students who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

A range of useful resources and practical examples will be demonstrated, including:

• Visual supports
• Communication tools
• Sensory resources
• Technology
